Zululand Distillers began with a simple belief: premium spirits should have a true sense of place.

In 2019, Cobus Oosthuizen set out to build a distillery that reflects the untamed beauty and bold character of Zululand. Surrounded by fertile soil and ideal growing conditions, the region produces extraordinary Queen Pineapples — naturally sweet, intensely aromatic, and perfectly suited for fermentation and distillation.

What started as an ambitious vision quickly became a passion driven craft. Every batch is distilled with precision, patience, and respect for traditional methods while embracing innovation.

Today, Zululand Distillers stands as one of South Africa’s unique pineapple based craft spirit producers.
